Erica C. Wilson is a shareholder at Murray Stone & Wilson and a seasoned plaintiff’s attorney with a longstanding record of advocating for victims of nursing home abuse, personal injury, and wrongful death. She is deeply committed to holding institutions accountable, having represented clients in cases against hospitals, nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, adult day care centers, trucking companies, and major corporations. Erica’s practice is uniquely focused on nursing home abuse, including complex cases involving invasion of privacy and sexual abuse, often related to inadequate supervision.

She began her career as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia. Erica prosecuted more than 30 jury trials, including serious felony cases involving crimes against children, older adults, domestic violence, and sexual assault. This work shaped her deeply held belief that victims deserve to be heard, believed, and protected—and it continues to drive her civil practice today. Her experience as a prosecutor enhances her credibility in dealing with law enforcement, strengthens her investigative approach, and gives clients confidence that their case will be handled with the same intensity and strategic focus she brought to criminal trials.

Erica previously served as a supervising attorney for a national plaintiff’s law firm that pioneered nursing home abuse litigation in Philadelphia. The role provided her with a well–rounded understanding of complex elder abuse issues and helped shape her approach to advocating for vulnerable clients. She is passionate about truly knowing her clients and their stories, carefully analyzing medical records and timelines to build a clear picture of what occurred and where the failures happened.

Outside the office, Erica enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and children, balancing a demanding career with a personal life rich in activity and connection.
