Preventative measures regarding skin wounds were added to the resident’s care plan on 10/12/2020, but were not followed.

Failed to Protect Resident Medical & Personal Privacy

According to Propublica.org, in an inspection conducted on 12/12/2019, the facility staff failed to protect a resident from public view during care. The facility staff failed to maintain this resident’s privacy by neglecting to close the privacy curtain during medical treatment.

Failed to Implement Abuse Policies

Per Propublica.org, during their 12/12/2019 survey, inspectors found facility staff failed to submit a five-day follow-up investigation to the appropriate state agencies. The investigation involved a facility-reported incident (FRI) about staff negligence regarding a resident’s care. The resident in question required total care for hygiene and medical issues. Reports show the resident was not receiving the care required.
